PROGRAMS OF DAANA Educational Welfare Society:
COMPUTER EDUCATIONS PROGRAM FOR SC, ST & BC’S:
We are giving job oriented computer training for rural SC/ST/BC people since 11 years. We are also providing job opportunities in Data entry, MS Office, DTP & in various government and private sectors. This year at KPHB colony, Miyapur, in Balnagar mandal, Shapur Nagar in Quathbullapur Mandal and Basheerbagh in Tandur, Branches. We have given training for more than 6000 Students in this year. Computer Vocational Courses, for all the 4 centers.

HEALTH CAMPS:
Health is more than Wealth. It is there fore very much essential that people should be educated on health and attendant precautions to taken by the public. More so, in rural areas, the usefulness of the campus on high side, as people who are subjected to these camps get good awareness on health after the programs. During the years, we have conducted health program in three different, rural areas. Volunteered to assist, they render service to the rural people. Due publicity in these areas with the help of village.

During the year, we conducted One Year Child Care programs in 2 places one is at Khajipalem, Guntur District and another at Quthubullapur, R.R District. We have provided nutrition food for the Orphans aged between 1 to 7 years. (50 + 50 Children) We have provide School Uniform-2 pair and First Aid Medicines for each and every student.

C.B.S(CHILDREN BIBLE SCHOOL):/br> We conducted two children schools with one year duration for motivating Jesus ways 90 students have voluntary joined in both the organizations during the year. One children Bible school at kattimudi Village, Guntur District. and another one at Quathbullapur, R.R.District. We have distributed Bibles, spiritual booklets. Specially we conducted spiritual classes also.
OLD AGE PEOPLE WELFARE PROGRAM :
Respect and regard to Senior Citizens is one of the prime objectives of our society. We have conducted every year for 50 members old age home at khajipalem in Guntur District also conducted old age welfare service 3 days programe. They have been given first aid medicine for general diseases after checkup by practicing doctors, and one pair of cloth have distributes to every old person. We distributed milk, bread and nutritious food for continuously 3 days. We also gave them instant old age pension and we propose to extend it to every month in due course subject to availability of funds.

Tailoring is one source of earning for poor people and therefore. Our organization gave excellent training in tailoring to poor and widows of SC,ST & BC people as one-month program. We conducted 2 Tailoring Training Centers one at KPHB Colony, R.R.District and another on at khajipalem village, guntur district. We have conducted the training for women for both the 2 programs. After completion of this training program they were provided with some tailoring material at free of cost. The finished items were marketed by this organization and now nearly 60 women are happy with their livelihood, for conducting 2 tailoring training at 2 centers in 2 batches.

HIV/AIDS is, as everybody is aware, a dreadful disease, for which there is only prevention for the present. To bring awareness and give a very good feedback on the usefulness of the program. We conducted awareness programs. We have extended our activities at Mandal Levels ans also at district level in taking care regarding aids and health. The people at the centers have cooperated with us. We conducted this awarensess program at RangaReddy, Medak, Nalgonda, Guntur, and Prakasham Districts . we distributed nearly 6000 Anti-Aids and Controlling brochures and gave a very good feedback on the usefulness of the program.

It is necessary that people their surroundings and places of work should be maintained neatly, to ensure good health and avoid floating of bacteria and virus, which spread diseases. Sanitation is vital for every Body and Hygiene” Plays a pivotal role in the health parameter. We have therefore laid much stress on bringing awareness to the people specially in rural areas on sanitation. Taking this view into consideration, we have conducted job oriented computer training program to physically handicapped. It has given us a deep sense of satisfaction of assisting the people, to create a sense of self-reliance and courage to face challenges in life in this society and earn their livelihood . in future we wish to conduct similar programs in some other areas to the same class of people, to achieve one of the contemplated goals of our society.

We have conducted competition in Sports Science Exhibition and songs. During this youth welfare program, we also conducted a camp for Blood Donation.

This program was on set of moonson at Vanastalipuram, Ranga Reddy District in march 2006 . we purchased 1200 plants at Kadiam and Kadipilanks in East Godavari district, inauguration of plantation of plants. These plants were distributed to the residents for plantation at their plants to develop greenery in the locality. People have expressed happiness for the good work done by the organization for environmental development.

These First Aid & Home Nursing classes were conducted by Dr. Dev Anand Jayanthy, M.B.B.S. These Training Classes were conducted once in a month, totally 12 class in a year. We also donated first aid kits to our students those who were trained in this program.

Our organization gave training in Handicrafts(Sarees Painting & Lace Making) to poor and women’s SC,ST & BC one-month programs. We conducted 2handicrafts centers one at KPHB Colony, R.R. District and another one at Khajipalem, Guntur District. We conducted the training for women for both the 2 programs, for two training centers. After completion of the training in Handicraft’s(Sarees painting & lace making), we provide job work to the trainees those who are poor. The organization has purchased raw material like cloth bits, paints, needles and various color threads and laces. After completion of this training program they were given some working material at free cost.
